Beyond the Glass Ceiling

Yalea presents the new chapter of the “Beyond the Glass Ceiling” campaign

For SS26, the De Rigo Group brand celebrates female empowerment through five new stories.

Yalea, a De Rigo Group brand long committed to supporting female empowerment, inaugurates a new chapter of its international campaign “BEYOND THE GLASS CEILING – Where vision meets empowerment”. A project that gives a voice to extraordinary women who, through talent, determination, and vision, have successfully shattered the glass ceiling in their respective professional fields, contributing to redefining the way we look at the future.

The campaign’s protagonists are five women, diverse in their stories, backgrounds, and professions, yet united by a common thread: having achieved significant professional milestones by overcoming the obstacles that limit the full expression of female talent in the working world. Through their perspectives and experiences, the campaign becomes the spokesperson for a message aimed at new generations and invites women who have already broken these barriers to become mentors for the leaders of tomorrow, inspiring them to overcome every limit.

Framing the gaze of these visionary women are the glasses from the new Yalea SS26 collection: models with a timeless design, characterized by clean geometric lines and enhanced by the sophisticated shades of the most innovative acetates. The collection includes optical frames, some of which are transformable into sunglasses thanks to practical clip-on technology, and sunglasses with polarized lenses, designed to combine style and protection for every occasion. Some models are also available in a “petite” version, specifically designed to harmoniously fit smaller faces.

The protagonists of the campaign are:

Isabelle Vivienne (Germany) – Carpenter and influencer. Today, she is the most followed craft influencer in the DACH area and has built a community that represents a stronghold against sexist criticism and a source of inspiration for all women who choose to pursue a career in craftsmanship.

Manuela Nicolosi (Italy) – International football referee, performance expert, and TV presenter. Today, she is a refereeing talent for DAZN, officiates the King’s Cup, and works as a speaker and trainer in leadership and female empowerment.

Marzieh Hamidi (Afghanistan/France) – Taekwondo athlete. Today, she is an athlete and activist under police protection, committed to giving a voice to women fighting for the right to exist and for self-determination.

Tania Alvarez (Spain) – Professional boxer. With determination and perseverance, Tania established herself in the world of boxing, winning the EBU European super-bantamweight title in 2023, which she still holds today.

Yvonne Bajela (United Kingdom) – Start-up Investor. Included in Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Europe” list and among the 25 most influential Black people in the UK, she is currently a Partner at LocalGlobe and Latitude and the founder of Impact X Capital Partners, a £100 million fund dedicated to supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs.
